Young Fan Joins Foo Fighters on Stage to Perform Metallica’s ‘Enter Sandman

At a Foo Fighters show in Kansas City, Dave Grohl, the band’s lead vocalist, highlighted a young musician. Ten-year-old Collier was given the incredible opportunity to play Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” alongside Grohl. During the concert, Grohl encouraged Collier to expand his performance, leading the young guitarist to tackle the opening riffs of other Metallica classics such as “Welcome Home Sanitarium” and “Wherever I May Roam.” This 2018 performance remains a cherished memory for Foo Fighters fans, especially following Hawkins’ untimely passing in Bogotá, Colombia.
